Web design basics – Simple rules to design a website

1)    While designing an Event or e card site, the size of a page should not exceed 30,000 bytes.

2)    While designing General site, the size of a page should not exceed 40,000 bytes.

3)    The images that are used in a site should not exceed 20 Kb.

4)    In a site, there should not be a horizontal scroll bar.

5)    The images must be used from the Copyright free image bank or website.

6)    Site must be updated at regular intervals.

Feathering – Feathering the edge of a graphic image gradually dissipates the edge, making the edge look blurry.

Flash – Vector graphic animation software from Macromedia that allows Flash graphics to look the same across all browsers, as long as the plug-in is installed.
