Bikers can expect to find more steep, mountainous climbs in north Georgia and flat, sandy trails in southern Georgia. Basically this state has something for everyone, regardless of your biking experience. Hopefully one or more of the trails below will appeal to you.
If you’re looking for a long, easy, scenic bike ride, be sure to visit the Silver Comet Trail. Located not far from Powder Springs, this 40-mile route is all paved and was built atop what used to be a railroad bed, so you’ll enjoy riding across bridges and through tunnels in addition to taking in the beautiful scenery all along this trail.
